Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. corporate grants and giving initiatives include charitable contributions, product donations and independent grants, as well as corporate and educational sponsorships.

We direct our resources to initiatives and organizations that provide broad public benefit, advance medical care or improve patient outcomes and are consistent with the company's corporate vision and values, and business, public policy or corporate philanthropy priorities.

Independent Medical Education Grants : Unsolicited requests for financial support for an educational program with a bona fide medical, scientific, or educational objective. Includes accredited certified Continuing Medical Education (CME) or non-CME education.

This category also includes submission for any Healthcare Improvement (HCI)/Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives which aim to foster the translation of scientific evidence into routine clinical practice for optimal patient care. Independent Patient Education Grants: Unsolicited requests for financial support to eligible organizations and patient advocacy groups for independent patient education.

Scientific Advancement Grants: Unsolicited requests for financial support to eligible organizations for clinical scholarships, fellowships or third-party investigator awards. Scientific Event Sponsorship: Financial support to eligible organizations to conduct an event with a specific medical or scientific educational objective in which Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. receives some type of tangible benefit in return for its support.

Corporate and Community Sponsorships: Financial support to a for-profit or non-profit healthcare or non-healthcare related organization, or healthcare institutions to conduct a non-educational event without a specific scientific or medical objective in which Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. receives some type of tangible corporate awareness benefit in return for its support.

Charitable Contributions are financial or in-kind support provided to non-profit organizations including, patient advocacy groups, professional medical associations, and other charitable organizations with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or 501(c)(6) tax status. *All grants and resulting work are independent of Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. influence and benefit.

Requests for funding must be made at least 60 days prior to any event or activity associated with the request Applications for funding support are reviewed on a rolling basis Open Payment Information (Sunshine Reporting): When applicable, the provision of information related to all payments or transfers of value made to U.S. physicians or covered recipients, as applicable, is required to be submitted to DSI within 30 days of each payment.
