School Hardening Grant Program is sponsored by Florida Department of Education, Office of Safe Schools. This program allocates funds to school districts and charter schools in Florida to improve the physical security of school buildings based on security risk assessments.

Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program - State Formula Provides formula funding to states to support a range of programs including: law enforcement; prosecution and courts; prevention and education; corrections and community corrections; drug treatment and enforcement; planning, evaluation, and technology improvement; crime victim and witness (other than compensation); mental health and related law enforcement and corrections programs; and implementation of state crisis intervention court proceedings and related programs or initiatives.

Supported training programs must address one or more of the following areas of focus: de-escalation tactics and alternatives to use of force; safely responding to an individual experiencing a mental or behavioral health or suicidal crisis; safe encounters with individuals with disabilities; successfully participating on a crisis intervention team; or making referrals to community-based services and support. https://cops. usdoj.
