We held our main activity - Winternights Viking Festival. In addition to our presentations this year we had a Viking reenactors group set up camp and do battle. New this year in additon to reconstruction of Freya was construction of an iron forge. Samples of iron ore and an iron ingot made in a similar Viking recreation forge were on display. Exhibits and educational materials were on display. Donations were accepted for LFS and to help support the Northern NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery. $120 was given to NNJVMC on Veterans Day.

The original Freya runestone needed to be rebuilt. We were able to replace it in time for this years WNF. The runestone is a hypertuffa sculpture that requires many man hours to construct being almost 6'high and an average of 3' in diameter.It closely resembles the original in shape using the same Freya image.

We got approval for our Home4dHolidays event including a free public ice skating rink. The township temporary permit required a certified electrician complete a permit for a temporary generator for it.. unfortunately we could not get one to do that 6 contacted. We had hoped to be able to have it available for Presidents week but still were unable to get the electric permit we needed.

We filmed an hours worth of the 2020 Winter Special Olympics in Feb for viewing by anyone. We attended Swedish Historial Society event in DE and Scanfest in Budd Lake presenting ourselves and cultural historical literature and exhibits such as the way Vikings split logs to form the planks that then became the sides of their longships. Covid became a major factor requiring cancelling of meetings classes etc
