A unique link to the portal will be available on this page when the application portal opens. The Foundation does not require Letters of Inquiries. Invitations are not required for general operating and project support grant requests. However, if you wish to apply for capital support, you must speak to a program officer beforehand and be invited to apply. Grant application deadlines are March 1, July 1, and November 1. Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on deadline dates. Should the deadline fall on a Saturday or Sunday, applications will be accepted the following Monday. To ensure each application is given fair consideration, the review process generally takes four to six months. If necessary, Foundation staff will schedule meetings with applicants prior to making recommendations to the Board. All applicants will receive written notification regarding funding decisions. If you are unsure if the organization should apply for general operating or project-specific support, please contact the Foundation. Capital support applications are now invitation-only. If your organization wishes to apply for capital support, please reach out to your program officer to discuss your request.
After someone from the organization has spoken to a member of the Foundation’s staff and has been approved to apply for capital support, you will be invited to complete the capital support application.
