Organizational Grants Initiative is sponsored by Scarlett Family Foundation. The Foundation partners with local nonprofit organizations and institutions to support excellence in Middle Tennessee education. Funding is directed toward programs that align with the Foundation's key initiatives: Literacy, Principal & Teacher Leadership, Career Readiness, and Advocacy. The process begins with a year-round interest inquiry form.

STEPS TO RECEIVING A GRANT Review our Grant Eligibility Checklist Complete the interest form below The Foundation will follow up and may request more information If eligible, receive an invitation to apply Step 1: Review our grant eligibility checklist Requirement 1: Align with some or all of the Foundation’s key initiativeS Develop Principal & Teacher Talent Requirement 2: Operate Within Our Middle Tennessee Community Requirement 3: Propose a grant with clear and measurable outcomes Requirement 4: Be able to show a minimum of two years of financial and programmatic results Requirement 5: Have a minimum operating budget of $250,000 if based in Davidson or Williamson Counties.

For the remaining 38 counties of Middle TN, a minimum budget of $100,000 is required. All organizations should have at least three revenue sources.
