Health Grants is a funding program from The Daniel Foundation of Alabama that supports nonprofit organizations working to improve health outcomes and community well-being across Alabama. The foundation prioritizes grants for organizations addressing health access, health disparities, and community-based health education initiatives. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits operating in Alabama with a demonstrated focus on building a healthy, well-educated population. Grant awards range from $10,000 to $100,000. Applications are accepted through a rolling Letter of Intent cycle with decisions issued approximately every four months. Organizations new to the Daniel Foundation should review the current cycle schedule before applying, as Special Projects for first-time applicants are temporarily restricted through 2026.
