These include human services, community development, social justice, arts and culture, afterschool and many other types of vibrant organizations serving communities. The Community Impact Grant is fueled by CAAP and the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC). We collaborate to support applicants and grantees. NNAAC is a member-based network of Arab American community-based organizations around the country. Their focus is on capacity-building, advocacy and civic engagement, and youth and community service. Reflect on your reality: The application will ask you questions about who you are, what you do and your current organizational joys and challenges. We encourage you to be honest and upfront! Right-size your request: Grant award amounts are scaled to an organization’s size and operating capacity.
Smaller organizations typically receive smaller awards, while larger organizations may be considered for larger amounts. Your grant request should not exceed 15% of your operating budget, up to $10,000. Note that application answers are limited to 1,000 characters each (150-200 words) by design to eliminate excessive burden on organizations.
