The Eisner Prize Fellowship The first step of the application process is to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Please review our grant programs here, our process here , and our criteria here before submitting an LOI. You may have recently received a notice of an update to our grant portal taking effect on August 25, 2025. This update has been delayed by our portal provider, Blackbaud, and will roll out in the coming months. You may continue using our existing grant portal until further notice. However, we continue to advise users to download all application and reporting data as soon as possible, as this data will not be retained once the update is complete. Applications for both Los Angeles and New York City are accepted year-round and reviewed on a rolling basis. In addition to basic information on your organization and details on the support requested, the LOI also requires short answers to the following questions: What structural challenges does your organization work to address, and how will this grant help you achieve your goals? How does your organization foster intergenerational connections? Why would your organization be a good partner for The Eisner Foundation?
