Technical Assistance Grants – PATH Foundation Technical Assistance Grants Organizations eligible for consideration must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, a religious institution, or a local government entity operating in Fauquier, Rappahannock, or Culpeper counties. Advancement of Technology: Supports software and technology upgrades for enhanced cybersecurity, donor management, corporate reputation, rebranding, or community outreach.
Funds may not be used for subscriptions, promotional campaigns, or advertising. Leadership Expertise: Provides funding for leadership training or contracting of a consultant to support boards, staff, or working groups. Funds may be used for travel, conference attendance, or registration fees.
Collaborative Strategies: Supports collaboration and knowledge exchange between two or more organizations with the assistance of a facilitator or consultant. Requests must be consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the PATH Foundation. Applicants seeking to engage a consultant or facilitator are encouraged to discuss their plans with the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) at the PATH Resource Center before applying.
Applications must outline a singular objective, anticipated outcomes, and how technical assistance will lead to lasting organizational improvements—not solely grant outputs. Technical Assistance grants are not a substitute for general operating expenses. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds for the fiscal year are exhausted.
Grants must be completed within six months of the award. Applicants can expect to hear from the PATH Foundation within 30 days of submission regarding the outcome of their proposal.
