Fatima Self Help Centre for Women and Girls: We have had a nearly twenty year relationship with the Fatima Centre but, in recent years, we had supported them solely through purchase of the goods produced in their sewing program for disadvantaged women. However, beginning in 2020 and continuing through 2021 and 2022 the impact of the Covid pandemic caused the Centre to experience periodic serious cash flow difficulties. In response, we gave very modest support to help a few of the women there who were struggling to meet even the most basic needs of their families.
