### Expanding Healthy Food Access Across the Piedmont Triad Post Date:09/11/2025 1:00 PM The Piedmont Triad Regional Council is now accepting applications for the **2025 Growing Food Finance Grants**, a funding opportunity to support local food retailers and food enterprises in expanding access to healthy foods in underserved areas across the Piedmont Triad Region.
With a total of $125,000 available in 2025, grant awards will typically range from $20,000 to $45,000, with larger awards considered for projects demonstrating significant regional impact or need. Funding is made available through the Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI) Partnerships Program led by Reinvestment Fund and is part of PTRC's broader Growing Food Finance in the Triad project.
