# Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship | Qualcomm [](https://www. qualcomm. com/) ## Celebrating and mentoring the minds of the future The Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QIF) program is focused on recognizing, rewarding, and mentoring PhD and Masters* students across a broad range of technical research, based on Qualcomm’s core values of innovation, execution, and teamwork.
The program empowers graduate students to take giant steps toward achieving their research goals. Funded student fellows annually The Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QIF) program is open to students from a preselected variety of top US and international universities. Students are encouraged to apply and submit a proposal on any innovative idea of their choice.
Qualcomm Technologies’ R&D’s top engineers carefully review submitted proposals and invite QIF finalists to present their proposals to a panel of executive judges. Winning students earn a one-year fellowship and are mentored by Qualcomm Technologies’ engineers to facilitate the success of the proposed research.
## Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship At Qualcomm, research, development and teamwork is a strong focus, which is why we created the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship program. We invest and partner with university PhD students in order to cultivate new and forward-thinking ideas, while continuing to further research and development overall.
The QIF program brings an immense enjoyment to Qualcomm Technologies’ engineers and the students they work with, from the diversity and innovation of the proposals to the collaboration during finals presentations with students and advisors.
