The Arts Education grant offers two funding categories: Pre-K–12 in-school or after-school programs, and community-based learning initiatives. These funds support arts education projects designed for closed groups of learners. All projects must be presented in partnership with a public school or an existing group such as a student club, senior living community, social service program, or similar learning cohort.
Projects should focus on exploring artistic practices, creative skills, and learning through or about the arts. Individual artists, collectives, unincorporated groups, tribal organizations, and 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a current address in Nassau or Suffolk County are eligible to apply.
Mandatory Information Sessions All applicants must attend a mandatory information session before submitting an application for any Arts Education grant opportunity. Please register at the link below. The Arts Education Information Session will be held via zoom on Thursday January 29, at 6pm.
