## Open grant and other opportunities ### Expressions of Interest for increasing residential care bed capacity in targeted locations The Australian Government is investing **$115 million** through the ACCAP to increase residential care bed capacity in Adelaide, Illawarra, Perth and the Hunter, where supply constraints, unmet demand and delayed hospital discharge pressures are significant.
In the first of two EOI processes, proposals are now being sought from registered providers in Adelaide and Illawarra that can deliver additional beds quickly by building, upgrading, expanding or reconfiguring residential care homes (including homes that are temporarily closed). Priority will be given to advanced proposals that meet the EOI requirements.
Respondents that demonstrate they can meet these requirements may then be invited to submit a full application under the Critical Infrastructure Grant Opportunity (GO6332). [](https://www. health.
