Alliance for Young Artists & Writers: Scholastic Awards is a recognition and scholarship program from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers that supports creative teens in grades 7–12 (ages 13 and up). Founded in 1923, it is the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative young people.
Students may submit work across 29 categories of art and writing and are judged by luminaries in the visual and literary arts. National Medalists are eligible for scholarships of up to $12,500 and are celebrated through national ceremonies, exhibitions, and publications held each June. There is no geographic restriction for U.S. students.
