AmeriCorps Grant Application Information | UServeUtah UServeUtah, the Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism, will be accepting applications for the operation of Utah State AmeriCorps programs. AmeriCorps provides support to nonprofits, community organizations, and public agencies committed to addressing critical issues in areas such as education, public safety, health, economic opportunity, the environment, and other human needs.
Grantees and sponsoring organizations are responsible for recruiting, selecting, and managing members. 2026 Grant Application Timeline All 2026 dates are subject to change and dependent on the release of the AmeriCorps Notice of Funding Opportunity.
February 6, 2026: Notification of Funding Opportunity February 2026: Mandatory Applicant Information Sessions March 5, 2026 : Intent to Apply Due April 6, 2026: Application Due May 2026: Grantee Notification Mandatory Applicant Information Sessions: Organizations interested in applying for AmeriCorps State funding must attend one of the virtual Mandatory Applicant Information Sessions.
Please contact Janessa Edwards with any questions: [email protected] 2026 National Direct Consultation and Applications National Direct Consultation requires multi-state (also known as national direct) applicants applying for competitive AmeriCorps funding to consult with the state or territorial service commission in the locations in which they are applying to place members.
National Direct Consultation was established to help increase collaboration and coordination among national service programs, which in turn supports the efficient use of national service funds in each state.
In order to streamline the consultation process between multi-state applicants and service commissions, America's Service Commission offers an online form that multi-state applicants can complete to initiate consultation with applicable participating commissions. For the FY26 AmeriCorps State and National Grant Funding Opportunity, all 52 state and territorial service commissions are participating.
