2026-2027 AmeriCorps Texas - Planning Grant - OneStar Foundation Apply for AmeriCorps Resources > Funding Opportunity 2026-2027 AmeriCorps Texas – Planning Grant This Notice is for AmeriCorps Texas Planning Grants . A planning grant provides financial support to organizations that will be developing an AmeriCorps program that will place AmeriCorps members in service solely within Texas.
Grant recipients are awarded up to $100,000 for an 12-month planning period to start September 1, 2026 , and are expected to be better prepared to compete for an AmeriCorps program operating grant in spring 2027 for the 2027-2028 grant cycle. A planning grant will not be used to support AmeriCorps members. OneStar has extended the deadline to account for additional work for applicants with the change in the submission process.
Late applications in whole or in part will not be accepted. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by late June 2026. Planning grants will start September 1, 2026.
