Animal Welfare and Equine Therapy Grants support the needs of animals in our community and equine-assisted therapy programs.
ToolBox grants help nonprofits become more effective, strengthen leadership, and update technology. Grants offer immediate financial assistance to first responders who are injured or killed in the line of duty. Grants fund land and natural resource preservation in North Texas as well as education programs focused on conservation.
The BEACON Fund drives community development in historically disinvested neighborhoods. North Texas Community Foundation is proud to steward numerous scholarship funds benefiting students across our region. North Texas Community Foundation awards grants year-round to support the needs of our region.
NTCF manages a variety of competitive grant cycles, which are powered by the generosity of our donors. Applications for these opportunities are accepted through our online grants portal. All proposals are reviewed and evaluated by volunteer grant committees consisting of diverse community leaders and subject-matter experts.
NTCF’s network of donors recommend grants from their charitable funds and then the Foundation awards those grants on the donor’s behalf. Nonprofits cannot apply for these funds and they represent over half of NTCF’s annual grant distribution.

The Homeless Youth Program is a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services that funds services for homeless and at-risk youth across Illinois.
