If you’re ready to begin a fulfilling and rewarding career in the beauty and wellness industry, or if you are continuing your education to pursue your next career goal, submit the application form, including the link to your submission video, below for the chance to win a $2,500 scholarship toward your tuition and education expenses.

Apply for this scholarship by September 1, 2026 Our scholarship may be awarded to: Students currently enrolled in an eligible program Prospective students planning to an enroll in an eligible program before the scholarship deadline Full-time or part-time students All US residents, including DACA recipients and international students Students of all ages (with parental consent if under 18) Twice per year, we select one student for the $2,500 award.

This scholarship is awarded to your school on your behalf, to be used for all educational expenses, including tuition, books, or supplies. See terms and conditions for full list of scholarship requirements. The Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship is a video submission essay.

Submit a 3-minute maximum video responding to one of the prompts provided below. Other video requirements: Videos exceeding 3 minutes will be disqualified Videos must be published to YouTube with a public link Videos must mention @beautyschools in the description Submitted video links must be direct to YouTube. Shortened links or URLs other than YouTube will not be considered.

Choose one prompt to respond to in your video: What field or specialty are you interested and why? Were there other programs you considered? What specific career goals led to you deciding on your chosen field or specialty?

What inspires you to pursue this path? What are your career goals? Where do you want to be one year after completing your program?

Where do you want to be 10 years after completing your program? What do you think the biggest obstacles are for achieving your goals? How do you plan to overcome them?

How will you use your career to benefit your community? How do you plan on changing others’ lives through your career? How would you advise a friend to choose the best beauty school for them?

How did you choose your school and what have you learned from your experience that you would pass along to a friend? (For those already enrolled) Show us a day in your life at school. What are you learning?

To be selected, students must be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in any of the following accredited or state-approved programs: Electrology , Laser Hair Removal , or Trichology Hair Design or Hair Braiding Makeup Artistry or Permanent Makeup Salon Management or Cosmetology Teaching Other relevant beauty industry program, at our selection committee's discretion The Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship Selection Committee reviews all submitted scholarship applications based on the following selection criteria: Video submission meets all video requirements How well you respond to one of the provided prompts Thoughtfulness of your response Your drive and passion in the beauty field Applicants may submit one application per scholarship period.
