Song-Brown Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM) Training Programs 2026 Application is a grant from the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) that funds institutions training certified nurse midwifery students to work in California's medically underserved communities. The program supports training strategies that recruit students predisposed to practice in areas of unmet need, provide counseling and placement programs, and include preceptorship experiences in underserved areas. Song Brown Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant (FNP & PA) 2026 Application is a grant from the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) that funds approved FNP and PA training programs to prepare primary care providers to serve California's medically underserved communities. Funded activities include recruiting and admitting trainees predisposed to working in areas of unmet need, implementing counseling and placement programs for graduates, and providing preceptorship experiences in underserved areas. Eligible applicants are approved FNP and PA training programs located in California. Total estimated funding is approximately $3.93 million, with applications due September 23, 2026.
