Commercial: Existing Buildings: Lighting Instant Discounts - Energy Trust of Oregon Business Lighting Instant Discounts Saving energy and money is sometimes as easy as changing a light bulb. Installing new LED lighting is an excellent way to enhance lighting quality and cut operating costs. When you buy qualifying equipment from a participating distributor, you can take advantage of instant discounts, reducing your out-of-pocket costs .
Lighting can consume up to 20% of the energy used by a business, depending on business type. When you upgrade your business lighting to high-efficiency LED fixtures and products, you can save on energy costs, in addition to improving the appearance and safety of your facility.
High-efficiency LED lighting Instant discounts from Energy Trust are available for qualifying lamps or fixtures installed at an eligible commercial, industrial or multifamily (common areas only) site in Oregon that receives electrical service from Portland General Electric or Pacific Power.

All qualifying LED products must be ENERGY STAR® certified or included on Design Lights Consortium (DLC®)’s Qualified Product List (QPL) version 5. 1 .

Buy qualifying products and receive instant discounts Once the distributor verifies your installation address, get your instant discount at the time of purchase. The discount will be shown as a line item on your receipt. Install and start saving energy Installation is required within 90 days of purchase.
