Capital Accelerator Programs | Space Florida projects business opportunities Capital Accelerator Programs Since November 2015, Space Florida has successfully partnered with the Florida Venture Forum with the intent of generating working capital and venture funds for Florida’s Aerospace and Aviation supply chain industries.
Headquartered in Miami and Tampa, The Florida Venture Forum (FVF) is the preeminent statewide, member-based, private equity, venture capital and angel capital organization in Florida. In 2019, FVF is celebrating 35 years of connecting Florida Entrepreneurs and Capital Sources to foster a thriving Innovation economy in the State of Florida.
In this partnership, Space Florida provides awards to winning presenting companies to attract the most innovative and capital worthy companies. Typical awards vary depending on whether the presenting companies are Seed, Early or Growth Stage. To date, more than $800 Million has been invested in the participating companies at these accelerator events.
In 2023, Space Florida partnered with ITEN (Innovation Technology Entrepreneur Network) WIRED Summit, the Southeast’s premier cyber security and IT conference, to connect, collaborate and build community with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and educators on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship topics in Northwest Florida.
