Capital for Kids was founded on the belief that each child deserves a chance for success. Capital for Kids was previously involved in the National Hedge Fund Cares organization from 2003 to 2004. However, in order to broaden our donor base to include other non-hedge fund firms in the local investment community, we amicably disassociated with Hedge Fund Cares in 2005.
As a result the percentage of money raised going directly to our local charities has significantly increased. Since inception, Capital for Kids has granted over $23 million to serve the most vulnerable children in North Texas. The organizations that Capital for Kids supports are vehicles for change in the personal lives and surroundings of the children in our community who desperately need our help.
Want to Help? Sponsor or Donate! Each year, hundreds of children and teens are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
We manage foster care and related services for these youth. Adoption means a “forever home” for a child who has been permanently removed from his or her home and resides in foster, relative, or nonrelative care. Generally, our most successful foster parents are open-minded, dependable, patient, and willing,to learn new parenting styles for children.
We have an impeccable reputation for the support we provide our foster children and families. We maintain frequent, consistent contact.
