Tuition and fees at the Community Colleges of Colorado are less than half of those at most public four-year universities. You’ll have access to great professors, career-connected programs, and hands-on learning — all adding up to an incredible value!
How Much Does a Typical Year Cost? For a full-time Colorado resident attending a CCCS college, base tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year is $5,250 ($175. 00 per credit hour × 30 credit hours).
The average course is 3 to 4 credit hours, though some classes may vary. College Opportunity Fund (COF) Eligible Colorado residents receive a state-funded tuition discount of $116 per credit hour through the College Opportunity Fund (COF). This stipend is already included in the “with COF” rates shown below.
COF eligibility is determined by the State of Colorado each year and covers up to 145 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree. More details can be found on the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s website . Advanced Industries Proof of Concept Grant is a grant from the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) that funds Colorado State University researchers seeking to commercialize innovations in advanced industries. Eligible sectors include aerospace, advanced manufacturing, bioscience, electronics, energy and natural resources, infrastructure engineering, and technology and information.
