Air Sensor Program - NSCAPCD or NoSoCo Air NoSoCo Air proudly presents its Community Air Sensor Program (CAIRS) to offer 50 particulate sensors at no cost to qualifying public-facing community groups. These sensors provide real-time air quality information (AQI) online to help communities plan and respond to air pollution events. Eligible applicants represent community groups that are public-facing.
Priority consideration is provided for groups that serve sensitive persons such as the elderly, children, low-income and disadvantaged communities, outdoor workers, and schools. Not eligible for individual use or single-family dwelling. Review the CAIRS Use Agreement for terms and requirements.
Create a brief statement of your eligibility and the community group(s) that would be served. Sign the Use Agreement. Be sure to complete sections 1 & 8 (project location and your contact information).

Eligible projects are selected on a first-come-first-served basis, one sensor per project. Applicants will be notified by email. If your project is selected, we will schedule a time for you to pick up your sensor at the District office and review the installation process with you.
When NoSoCo Air provides your sensor it will include documentation with installation instructions, including an email necessary to register your sensor.
