FY25 Office of Justice Programs Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative Site-Based is sponsored by Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). This funding opportunity seeks to prevent and reduce violent crime through comprehensive, evidence-informed violence intervention programs focused on those at highest risk. Provides funding to develop and enhance strategies to prevent youth violence, including youth gang or group involvement and youth gang or group violence. Deliverables from this program include the development of new direct service programs or the enhancement of existing programs for youth with multiple risk factors for violence.

The Youth Violence Prevention Program provides funding to help prevent youth violence and enhance student success by targeting risk factors, enhancing preventative measures, and reducing violence within communities and schools.
