Community Engagement Grants - Obici Healthcare Foundation Application Details and Online Portal Community Engagement and Micro-Capacity Building Grants Obici Healthcare Foundation offers Community Engagement Grants and Micro-Capacity Building Grants to support nonprofit organizations working to improve health and well-being in the Foundation’s service area .
Community Engagement Grants support programs, services, and activities that engage the community and are available to community members and help improve health and well-being. Micro-Capacity Building Grants support efforts that strengthen an organization’s systems and the people who carry out its work, helping them effectively advance their mission.
These one-time grants are offered on a rolling basis and support efforts that address local health needs, expand access to essential programs and services, and strengthen nonprofit organizations. Priority is given to collaborative, community-driven approaches that respond to local needs.
Together, these grants help nonprofits deepen and sustain their impact, strengthen their organizations, and continue serving the communities of Western Tidewater and Gates County. Eligible organizations may apply for only one of these grant types per fiscal year (April 1–March 31) and typically receive one grant during that time—either a Community Engagement Grant or a Micro-Capacity Building Grant, not both.
