ARH Foundation Community Grant Program is sponsored by Appalachian Regional Healthcare Foundation. This program funds programs or projects that address needs or opportunities to improve the quality of life for women and children in South Central Kentucky. Projects must be in one or more of the following focus areas: Education, Health, Human Services, Other Civic Endeavors.

Community Grants Program (Appalachian Regional Healthcare Foundation) is a grant from ARH Foundation (Appalachian Regional Healthcare) that funds nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies improving health and wellbeing in Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia. Grant areas include education for healthy lifestyles, improved health outcomes, human services (food, housing, employment, public safety), and other civic endeavors benefiting community health and quality of life. Awards do not exceed $5,000. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or governmental agencies in the ARH service region. Organizations that previously received an ARH Foundation grant must wait five years to reapply and may submit only one application per year.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers. Beginning with the June 12, 2025 due date, the CURE ACE Award is available in both Independent Clinical Trial Required and Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed versions. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of award.
