Established in 1997, the Foundation has grown from one fund worth $9,000 to more than 475 funds valued at over $74 million. Thanks to years of investment from our community, our young community foundation has grown from $9,000 in 1997, to managing over $74,715,908 in assets in FY25. The Homeless Youth Program is a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services that funds services for homeless and at-risk youth across Illinois.
