Community Grants Program - Fred Hutch Applications for the Community Grants Program are currently closed. Fred Hutch Cancer Center invites applications for innovative projects to address and improve cancer related health and well-being by addressing barriers to care and promoting opportunities for healthier lives.
Projects must align with one or more of the following 2025 - 2028 Community Benefit Implementation Plan priorities : Access to Care – improving pathways, reducing barriers, and making health services more reachable. Socio-economic Drivers of Health – addressing root social and economic factors that affect health outcomes like housing, income, transportation, and education.
Prevention and Screening – enhancing early detection and health education around cancer prevention through culturally appropriate outreach. This grant is funded by Fred Hutch’s Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (OCOE) and Community Benefit Program.
The goal of the Community Grants Program is to support community-led solutions that address cancer related prevention, screening, education and access to care with communities and Tribes in Washington State. This program strengthens collaborations between the Consortium and Washington communities and Tribes by building the capacity to design and implement sustainable programs.

Awardees that have been funded through this grant mechanism two years in a row (2024 and 2025) are not eligible to apply in 2026.
