Earliest date contract will be signed: September 11, 2026 The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) is accepting proposals for the Developmental Disabilities Community Advocacy Coalition (DD-CAC). The budget for this project is $98,000 per year for two years. It will have an opportunity to be extended on a yearly basis through September 2031.
The contractor will provide coordination, facilitation and capacity building support for the DD-CAC so members can work together to develop a community driven policy agenda, strengthen leadership pathways, expand participation and engage in effective advocacy.
The contractor will support coalition operations, member engagement, communication tools, leadership development, policy agenda creation and year-round community action activities. This work will emphasize accessibility, equity and meaningful participation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
