Education Alliance for Semiconductor Experiential Learning (EASEL) is a grant program from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and NY CREATES that funds experiential learning opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing for college students and educators across the United States. Established under the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act's $52 billion investment framework, EASEL connects students and instructors — particularly from community colleges — to hands-on semiconductor fabrication training. Eligible participants include college students from across the U.S. and teachers or instructors seeking to build semiconductor workforce skills. The program aims to develop the domestic talent pipeline needed to support America's semiconductor manufacturing resurgence.
