Biancamano CHEFA Client Grant Program Awards, distributing $1,022,407.
37 to support vital programs and capital projects for nonprofit organizations across Connecticut. Since the program’s establishment in 2002, CHEFA has awarded nearly $20 million in essential funding to nonprofits, benefiting healthcare, education, childcare, and cultural sectors statewide. Combined with other grant initiatives, CHEFA’s support exceeds $49.
5 million over the past 22 years. CHEFA is excited to announce the opening of the FY 2027 Enterprise Capital Grant Program Request for Proposals. Through this competitive grant program, CHEFA will support eligible Connecticut nonprofit organizations pursuing strategic investments that strengthen organizational capacity, expand impact, and advance long-term sustainability.
• Capacity building and operational efficiency • Program expansion and increased community impact • Strategic sustainability initiatives • Innovative and pilot projects Grant requests may range from $100,000 to $500,000. Letters of Interest are due July 23, 2026, at 4:00 p. m.
