Types of funding we offer – ESRC – UKRI Types of funding we offer - ESRC We provide a range of funding, covering smaller awards to support early career researchers and larger research awards enabling both individuals and larger teams to access funding through our applicant-led research grants and centres competitions. We also provide funding for postgraduate training and fellowships.

We have launched two pilots to fill gaps in our existing offer: Connect : Funding to support researchers to connect with each other to scope, seed and grow emerging research fields and new areas of inquiry. React : Responsive funding to generate time-critical research to support UK policymakers or frontline practitioners in public services.
