The EuroHPC JU will amend the existing hosting agreement between the EuroHPC JU and the selected hosting entity to establish a new stable and structured partnership for: the development and operation of an Advanced Experimental AI-optimised Supercomputing Platform – this part of the call is optional, and the establishment and operation of the associated “AI Factory”.
For the establishment and operation of AI Factories, as well as the development and deployment of advanced experimental AI-optimised supercomputing platforms, the European Union's total contribution is estimated at a maximum of EUR 180 million, stemming from Horizon Europe funding. The maximum EU contribution for the establishment and running per ‘AI Factory’ is set at EUR 15 million for a maximum period of 3 years.

EuroHPC AI Factory Access is a grant from the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking that provides European AI startups, SMEs, and researchers with access to advanced supercomputing resources for AI development.
