FCC AgriSpirit Fund | FCC Do you have a capital project that will enrich lives in your rural community? The FCC AgriSpirit Fund supports projects in communities of less than 50,000 people. Eligible applicants can apply for $10,000 to $25,000.
Applications are closed and will re-open in spring 2027.
Examples of what we may consider Construction of or upgrades to community buildings Initiatives that support agriculture and food Projects that reduce your environmental footprint Projects that improve accessibility and inclusion Projects to support food recovery or reduction of food waste Charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency Non-profit organizations who partner with a municipal body, territorial or provincial government; Non-profit organizations who partner with First Nations, Inuit or Métis governments/communities; the municipal body or government/community must agree to receive contributed money.
Town, city, rural municipality, or First Nations, Inuit or Métis government/community under 50,000 people Applicants that have not received support through the FCC AgriSpirit Fund in the past five years Note: FCC employees and their immediate family members cannot apply on behalf of an organization Recognize FCC’s contribution Must be completed within two years of receiving funding with documented proof Are capital projects that enrich the lives of community residents in communities of less than 50,000 Successfully pass FCC’s background check Operating budgets or debt reduction campaigns Fundraising for a charity through private foundations or third parties (Lion’s Club, Knights of Columbus, etc.) unless funds are directed to a specific capital project for which FCC receives recognition for the donation Individual projects or interests Initiatives that benefits members of a religion or political party.
Daycare, private school or preschool Projects that adversely impact the environment political group or organization directed by an elected federal official Communities of over 50,000 Initiatives located outside of Canada Sports teams or equipment purchase Your organization is also not eligible if you have received FCC AgriSpirit Funding in the past five years, or if you do not pass FCC’s necessary background check.
