Grants | Dickinson Area Community Foundation (DACF) Since 1995, DACF has been entrusted to distribute over $3. 5 million in grants. The use of endowed funds enables sustainable funding of grants to meet our community needs today and into the future.
Each year non-profit organizations in our community are awarded grants to support their missions. The Community Impact Grant fund provides mini-grants to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, agencies, and non-taxable entities, such as schools, churches, and municipalities serving people in Dickinson County and its surrounding areas in Michigan and Wisconsin.
Many of the Dickinson Area non-profit agencies have established endowment funds with the Dickinson Area Community Foundation. Each year, the earnings on the individual organization agency funds are dispersed to the designated agency or organization in accordance with the Field of Interest Program Grants Field of Interest Program Grants are funded by the earnings on endowment funds allocated to a specific cause or program areas.
