At the Popeyes Foundation, we believe it's important to give back to our communities. That's why, we direct funds raised in restaurants back locally. FOOD LOVE GRANTS PROGRAM Our Food Love Grants program focuses on nonprofits that serve food to those who need it.
Our Food Love Grants support comes to life throughout Popeyes neighborhoods with programs support ranging from onsite feeding programs, mobile kitchens, homebound food delivery programs, out-of-school meals, and disaster-related food support. Support is directed to IRS approved 501(c)3 nonprofits that are invited to apply by the Popeyes Foundation. As our program grows, we look forward to partnering with additional eligible nonprofits.
Through the Popeyes Foundation’s SERVING WITH LOVE ® platform, Food Love Grants will be directed back to participating communities per the below funding guidelines and program parameters. The Popeyes Foundation’s Food Love Grants are a local DMA-based program that directs funds raised in-restaurants back to local 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that provide food to those in need.
This program ensures the money raised within that community is used to support those in need in that area. The Food Love Grants program supports IRS approved 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that: 1. Serve food to those who need it – focusing on food insecure, those with limited access, underserved, low-income individuals and families.
2. Provide individuals, families, and communities access to food and food resources during a natural crisis. •Out-of-school meal programs •Warm, delivery meal programs for homebound individuals •Neighborhood co-op food programs that teach families how to grow food and/or grocery shop economically •Disaster-related food support The Popeyes Foundation does not fund IRS approved 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that: 1.
Fall outside of the above criteria, 2. Have a specific religious or political affiliation, 3. Discriminate or withhold services based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, or military status.
2026 Food Love Grants Program In 2026, we will direct more than $1. 12 million to local nonprofits throughout 100 market areas. The Food Love Grants Program continues to follow an invitation-only grants process.
Our 2026 grant cycle is already underway so if your nonprofit is selected for an invitation you will receive an email March 2026. What is the grant range for a Food Love Grant? In 2026, our grants will range from $1,000 to more than $60,000. Why does the Popeyes Foundation follow an invitation-only application process?
We seek nonprofits that are aligned with our mission and the spirit of what Food Love is about. Additionally, we consider funds available by market area and opportunity for long-term partnership. While we would like to open the program up for proposals, we currently do not have the resources to review a high volume of proposals.
