FULL BIBLE INITIATIVE | ETEN Innovation Lab The FBI targets three main categories: Languages with 500,000+ speakers where translation has stalled or has not yet started. Top 100 languages in need of a second translation or critical revision. Aquifer reference text development in six strategic languages.
Our goal is to move beyond traditional methods, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative approaches to ensure these translations reach their communities as quickly as possible.
FBI is a strategic, collaborative effort to accelerate Bible translation in languages where accelerated approaches are most clearly needed to achieve the All Access Goals by 2033 The FBI targets three categories of translation impacting the All Access Goals: Languages with 500,000+ speakers where translation has stalled or has not yet started. Top 100 languages in need of a second translation or critical revision.

Eligibility for Participation Partners must submit a translation plan outlining strategies to achieve the All-Access Goal by the end of 2032 (creating cushion for 2033). Eligible plans will include all three elements highlighted here. Access the Partner Information Guide for a detailed overview of the requirements and participation process.
Use Assisted Translation Technologies for drafting, quality assurance, and data assessment. Ensure church/community-based leadership in translation decision-making and quality assurance. Commit to open licensing and uploading all translated Scripture to the DBL.
