The Foundation's philanthropic strategy and programs focus on engineering education, workforce development, military and veterans causes, and disaster relief. When GE Aerospace launched as an independent company in 2024, the GE Foundation was relaunched as the GE Aerospace Foundation, commencing a new chapter that builds on the successful, 100+ year legacy of the previous GE Foundation.

Workforce Training and Development GE Aerospace and its Foundation have expanded their longstanding commitment to strengthening the current workforce pipeline and investing in the future of manufacturing talent through over 20 programs lifting up more than 10,000 individuals.
Military and Veterans Causes Alongside our global military partnerships, we are proud to support organizations that provide critical care and services to those who have served and sacrificed for their countries. Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Aid When disasters strike, GE Aerospace activates in our communities, connecting industry resources with humanitarian partners to deliver critical aid where it’s needed most.
Our most important asset is our people, and they are the driving force behind many of our philanthropic efforts, including several that are only possible because of the commitment of our global employees. GE Aerospace volunteers make a tangible impact. More than 10,000 employee volunteers contributed over 50,000 hours of their time to support 874 distinct, GE Aerospace-led projects globally.
GE created the concept of a corporate matching gift program in 1954—a perk now offered by 65% of Fortune 500 companies. To date, total gifts and matches have exceeded $1. 5 billion.
In 2025, 45 GE Aerospace facilities supported local communities by donating to STEM education, community building, military and veteran support, sustainability, and disaster relief. In 2025, 75 students received Star Awards scholarships to help launch their higher education journeys.
