To encourage its landowners to contribute, EQT has pledged to match up to $10,000 per land lease for contributions to the Fund. The amount of the annual grants will increase as the value of the Fund grows. This is a flexible grant opportunity, with no prescribed purpose for the grant requests.
However, requests for general operating support or routine program support will not be considered. A total of $10,000 will be awarded this year. Grants from the Fund will be no less than $2,500 per grantee.
Requests will be considered by a grants committee comprised of contributors to the Fund. The amount of the annual grants will increase as the value of the Fund grows.
