Our Founder Will Keith Kellogg said, “I’ll invest my money in people. ” For more than 90 years we have done just that, recognizing that local leaders drive sustainable change in communities worldwide. Why Global, Collective Leadership Matters The Global Fellows Network embodies the living legacy of Will Keith Kellogg, who believed in the power of everyday people to catalyze sustainable change.

This remains our steadfast belief today. A community of change agents, thought leaders and influencers, our Global Fellows Network members work in more than 40 countries. The network encompasses a diverse range of sectors and bridges multiple generations.

Since our founding in 1930, the foundation has supported many cohorts of fellows in their leadership journeys, which neither begin nor end with WKKF. Today, more than 1,100 of those fellows participate in the Global Fellows Network, actively tackling critical issues facing their communities and our world. “The issues that we’re dealing with are global issues and it’s important that we understand that in the work we do.

Today’s Fellowship for Today’s Leaders Leadership development remains a core tenet of our work today. Local leaders focused on racial equity, racial healing and community engagement create the conditions that propel children toward success. Our current signature leadership program in the United States is the Community Leadership Network with the Center for Creative Leadership .

This 18-month fellowship program supports local leaders so they can connect, grow and lead transformational change toward a more equitable society. Fellows come from communities across the U.S. and sovereign tribes. We place special emphasis on developing leaders from our priority communities: Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and New Orleans.

As leaders graduate from the Community Leadership Network, they join the Global Fellows Network.
