In recognition of America's 250th anniversary, the CenterPoint Energy Foundation's Energizing Veteran Resilience Grant Initiative is a community investment program focused on strengthening the well-being, stability, and long-term resilience of United States veterans.
The program supports organizations delivering essential services, helping veterans overcome challenges, transition successfully to civilian life, and thrive in their communities.
The initiative prioritizes programs addressing critical needs impacting veteran resilience: Mental health and peer-based support Transitional or stable housing assistance Daily living support such as transportation, benefits navigation, and basic needs $5,000 to $25,000 . Applicants may request funding within this range based on their program’s needs, capacity, and anticipated outcomes.
