Health@tn. gov Provides funding for built environment projects to advance community health and resilience, especially for low resource, economically distressed, and at-risk communities in Tennessee.
Eligible projects include but are not limited to: Other publicly accessible spaces designed to promote physical activity, access to healthy food, and social Proposals are accepted for projects at varying stages of development, including convening, assessment, planning, infrastructure design, and construction.
Eligible applicants include Tennessee local and state government entities, Tribes, and 501(c)(3) nonprofit Funding amounts for Phase A projects: $2,000 for convening projects $20,000 for assessment projects $50,000 for planning projects Grants of up to $80,000 are available for Phase B infrastructure design and construction Project period: 24 months Estimated number of awards: 10-15 Estimated total program funding: Links to additional documents and the application instructions are available on the website .
Information will be on the Requests for letter of intent by March 13, 2026. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal with a deadline of May 22, 2026.
