Help America Hear Program | Providing Access to Hearing Aids and Resources — Help America Hear Providing Prescription Hearing Aids for Those in Need Nationwide Bringing the Gift of Sound to Those in Need At Help America Hear, we believe no one should live in silence because of financial hardship.
Through the Help America Hear Program, we provide brand new, high quality prescription hearing aids to men, women, and children across the country who otherwise could not afford them. This program is intended as a last resort for individuals and families who have exhausted all other financial options.
Before applying, applicants are asked to explore every available resource, including personal savings, family assistance, credit options, investment funds, retirement accounts, and any applicable state sponsored programs.
Our mission is made possible through the generosity of hearing healthcare professionals, manufacturers, corporate sponsors, and private donors who donate their time, expertise, and resources to help restore the gift of hearing. If approved to receive state of the art prescription hearing aids from Help America Hear and GN ReSound, a refundable deposit of $250 is required.
If the hearing provider fitting your hearing aids charges a fitting fee, this deposit will be applied toward your appointment costs. If your provider donates their time and services, you may choose to donate your deposit to Help America Hear, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you prefer a refund in this case, simply request it and the full deposit will be returned to you.
