The GPD Program awards grants to community-based organizations to offer transitional supportive housing, helping vulnerable Veterans transition into permanent housing. These grants are designed to assist Veterans at various stages on their path to stable housing. Community organizations receiving GPD grants provide focused transitional housing services through a range of housing models tailored to the unique needs of Veterans.
The GPD program plays an essential role in the continuum of homeless services by offering supportive services to Veterans who might otherwise be unsheltered.
