m. PT What funding is available? Commerce is releasing a new funding opportunity for new multifamily housing developers who are seeking funds to secure technical assistance for a future Housing Trust Fund (HTF) application , or funds to cover non-capital costs for a project preparing to apply for HTF funds in an upcoming HTF funding round.
Approximately $2. 9 million is now being made available through this Notice of Funding Availabilities (NOFA). We are providing two options for funding use: Option A: Technical Assistance Funding.
Up to $50,000 per project for nonprofit organization with limited previous rental housing development experience. Option B: Preconstruction Funding. Up to $200,000 per project to support non-capital design and planning work for multifamily rental projects.
