The grant, titled HDR- Stormwater and Drainage System Improvements , will support critical upgrades to Valdosta’s stormwater and drainage infrastructure. These improvements are designed to strengthen the city’s resilience to severe weather events, reduce flooding risks, and protect neighborhoods, roadways, and public assets impacted by hurricanes and heavy rainfall.
