Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant Welcome to the online application process for the Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant. Important information regarding this program, including the eligibility requirements, may be accessed on the Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant Program page. Launching the ING application below will open the Student Portal, where you can either login if you already have an account, or create one for the future. Once you have created a personal profile, the system will automatically use that information to fill in part of your application, and then process it after you complete the rest.
Having an account will also give you a way to check on the status of your application, keep track of the number of eligibility units you have remaining and view and print your most recent ING Grant eligibility notification.
