WSDA Local Food System Infrastructure Grant The purpose of the Local Food System Infrastructure Grant program is to support local food supply chains and market access for Washington farms, ranches, food processors, and food distributors. The grant funds projects that expand and strengthen collaboration across linkages in regional food supply chains in Washington.
This includes equipment and facilities for post-harvest handling (including slaughter), aggregation, processing, manufacturing, storing, distribution, or sale of Washington grown, caught, and raised food. Are reimbursement style grants , which means grant recipients pay for project costs with their own funds and are paid back after goods/services have been received. Reimbursement requests can take up to 30 days to be paid.
Applicants should factor reimbursement processing time into their overall project timeline.

Job Skills Program Priorities : All industry clusters are supported by the Job Skills Program whenever possible, and awards are spread to all corners of Washington state, including rural areas. Job Skills Program Shared Investments : JSP is a dollar-for-dollar matching grant program, and at least 50% of training expenses are covered by the business through cash and/or in-kind payments.
Lasting working relationships develop between the business and the educational institution as both parties engage in the development and implementation of a training plan.
